SENIOR PRESIDENTIAL ADVISOR ON SPECIAL OPERATIONS GENERAL PASSES OUT 2060 LEADERS

The Senior Presidential advisor on special operations General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has today passed out 2060 leaders in Mubende district who have successful completed the five days patriotism carder course.

While addressing the graduates at Kasambya DAS primary school play ground in Kasambya town council in Mubende district Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba thanked the district leaders for sparing some time o their busy schedule and attended the five days course.

Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba explained that “Patriotism means vigorous love for ones country and the ability to defend it from its enemies.” He therefore tasked the graduates to implement what they have been taught since they have been armed on how to defend the country better.

Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba thanked the president for coming up with the patriotism initiative and applauded the National Patriotism Secretariat which has carried on the effort of implementing the Patriotism programs with support from the office of the president.

He further appealed to the youth to desist from the habit of land fragmentation but rather engage in agriculture, poultry, and piggery, zero grazing where they can still make some good money and share the proceeds.

Hon. Milly Babalanda the Minister for presidency noted that “the patriotism carder course is aimed at training ambassadors who are armed with information about the various government programs, projects and structures, on how best to pass on the information to the communities by changing their mindset change for positive out puts.”

Sekamatte Hussein lc iii chairperson Nabingoola town council and the team leader explained that a total of 2060 leaders that include Village Health Team, lc i chairpersons, lc i NRM chairpersons, lc ii chairpersons, lc iii chairpersons, and sub county chairpersons, Community Development Officers, Sub county chiefs, Parish Chiefs, religious leaders, district councilors and sub county councilors have been trained in Mind set change, parish development model, unity amongst leaders, skills in social mobilization, divisionism based on tribes and religions.
